Hey guys, not sure if I'm overlooking something but I'm running vanilla Minecraft on the latest version with the latest version of 64-bit Java (all other versions uninstalled) and getting about 45-75 average fps with stuttering every second or so, with the fps slowly dropping. Bringing up the stats in-game, I look straight ahead and I'm at about 103fps, then I watch the fps slowly drop until it settles down at 45 fps.
Running maxed at 1440p windowed. I can turn down the settings/resolution, sure, but it seems a bit unnecessary all things considered. I just feel like I'm missing some massive setting that someone is gonna point out and I'm gonna facepalm myself.

Assigning more ram to Minecraft makes it worse, lagspikes are longer as the GC gets lazy and has to run when absolutely low on memory
