Minecraft worked perfectly fine yesterday and now today I try to log in to minecraft and I am greeted with a thing saying that the native launcher is preparing to update and so I wait... and wait... It opens up a white box that isn't labeled but has the Minecraft cube at the top left... It is doing nothing and I have no idea what to do.

I have even tried deleting everything and then reinstalling it! (Including my .minecraft)

I have changed compatibility options and permission of users on my computer to full control.

I have no other options that I can think of!

The launcher doesn't even open and my computer is connected to the internet

And Intel Security too, its basically mcafee with a new name

Seems the new driver causes some issues with CEF too

I already downloaded that hotfix... I have no idea what is wrong!!!

Another thing, why in bloody god are you still using windows xp? UPGRADE.. Windows 7 licenses go fairly cheap now, just upgrade for gods sakes. You'll have to eventually.
