I've got a bit of a problem with my launcher. I tried to play some mods and when I pressed the "Play" button the loading bar sat at the very beginning for about 10 minutes at which time I gave up and ditched the mod, this happened with about 2 out of 3 mods. In my experience, if a mod doesn't work then there no way to fix it, but this is ridiculous. Also, if I try running the launcher without an internet connection it doesn't work at all and gives me the fairly common massage that "Minecraft has stopped working" and gives me the option to either close the program of "Look for help online", and since help functions like that are the most unhelpful thing in the world I just gave up. One possible answer would be to just stay connected to the internet but I find that Minecraft clogs up my house's lame low-speed internet and slows the browsers on other computers in the house to a snail's pace. Incase you need to know I'm running Minecraft 1.7.10 and Java 8. Both my Forge and my mods are pretty old as such things go and so it could be that but I don't think so. I ran the same mods and Forge on my old computer at least until July of last year.

Just curious, that's all.
Without any logs this is nearly impossible to "guess" what the issue is.
Should I post the log?
Just curious, that's all.
I should also say that the second problem I mention in my original post happens even without mods.
Just curious, that's all.
Are you running NVIDIA 378.49 drivers?
I'm not sure. It might just be easier to reinstall minecraft.
Just curious, that's all.
That's what I'm going to do, it's easier than trying forever to get rid of one tiny problem.
Just curious, that's all.
