i have windows 10 miner was working fine than he quit mining updated grapics card and I emailed minecraft and they said something about java but I don't think java works with 10 can someone please help. am in survial mode also

it is not giving her a error message this is my daughter playing and I have been trying to figure it out for her it just wont let her mine nothing even tried to remove minecraft from the computer and re downloaded still not working

It should show at least something that says to you that is not working

it don't I even tried making me a world and I click the left mouse and nothing happens his arm don't even move is there another button I can hit to make him mine if left clicking the mouse don't work in the settings it says button 1 am lost that's why am on here trying to figure it out for her he just wont mine I can walk around but not break anything

the arm only moves when it has something to interact with, so if you use the destroy button on a block, it should start moving, or if you use the use button to place a block or click a button

I do not know mine craft really this is my daughers game am just trying to figure it out for her is there a setting she could of pushed and I don't know about I am lost?

for mining like I said I click the left mouse button and he don't do nothing I can walk around but cant mine trees or anything like I said am lost thank you for trying to help hope we can figure this out

You have to hold the button on the block you want to mine

yes and nothing he wont mine just tried that it shouldn't take more than a couple secs right if it is working

ok I figured it out she had hotbar slot 6 set has button one also so I guess it wouldn't work that way thank you for your help

it can take more seconds or forever depending on the type of material. Try holding left button for more time.
