when i click on the icon to play offline nothing happens at all but when i turn on my internet it works fine and I don't always internet and play mostly offline i have uninstalled and reinstalled twice still won't work

You have the other launcher?

I am having the same issue. But as far as I know it only began a few days ago. Where can I get the launcher you're talking about?

I have this issue as well, I have tried the old launcher and it seems to work and allow me to press "play offline", so why does the new launcher not open at all when there's no internet

You have any log from when you try offline? For the bug report (Enable logs in the settings of the launcher!)

but thats the problem the launcher wont even appear at all, meaning we cant see the log even if we wanted to. The old launcher however will appear and just try to download a java thing 10 times before giving up and showing the play offline button, which is what im guessing the new launcher should also do

so for anyone who reads this, the problem has been fixed in the new version of the launcher

When you say "New version of the launcher" do you mean the next update, the "New version of the launcher", or the current 2.0 one.
