Not sure what you mean by looks ugly. The screenshots don't tell much except the first one where it's only filling part of the window, and I don't know what that means.

Just look at the texture of the sheep for example:

Try comparing it to the real one
Not saying it's ugly but it looks really different from the real minecraft and it bothers me alot with the fact that it has been almost 2 years playing
and try clicking on the screenshot if you can't see what's wrong
The menu screen and the image of Steve in the village are too small to tell what's going on, the forum is down sizing them or something. The pink sheep one looks OK to me, I don't see anything there that looks out of the ordinary. On the first set you posted, I do see something weird going on in the texture of the sheep's face and the Steve, it almost looks like the textures are downsampled or something, are you running a texture pack? Not sure what else would cause that.

It almost looks like in that one screenshot that the graphics are being changed to a lower color, like palleted from RGB mode or something. Like it's averaging the colors to reduce the amount of colors used. Have you updated your video drivers lately? What type of video card are you using? I really can't figure what would do that, if that's even the issue, can you take a short video showing what you're looking at and post it? Or try uploading some full resolution screenshots to imgur or image shack instead of posting on the forums, I think the forum reduces the images somehow and I can't really tell what's going on.

Didn't have a chance to look at the video until now. I have no idea what's going on there. I'm not sure what would even cause that. Only thing I can think of is a video driver issue maybe. Have you updated the video drivers? What video card are you using? The fact that you say it won't even run without Optifine makes me think your system is on the borderline of being able to run the game at all. Though if it used to look OK and now it doesn't that makes me think driver issue.

So I've been playing minecraft for a year until it suddenly won't start.
Here's some screenshots for easy explanation
Note: that these never happened before and practically my 2 old laptops can run it like usual but this one can't
Note: It happens on ALL versions of minecraft
Note: My Java is Java 8
Note: It starts with OPTIFINE but looks messy and ugly
Searched and googled it but no results..

Is it blurry without optifine installed?
It won't even run without Optifine it get's that weird menu in the corner and everything else is white like the FIRST pic above

Stupid problems require stupid solutions, try using a texture pack and then turn it on and off..
Did you check the VBO option? if it's on, turn it off and see if that fixes it.

Note that it worked for me a few months ago....
-Tried paper cut out resource pack,It looked better in the resource pack but just the same blurry game with different textures..
Note:The Chicken still has that sharingan red eye just in different resource packs
-The VBO is always off,never turned it on anyways...
