I want to start off with saying I am not an overly computer-literature individual. It's not my interest, and I've generally been able to skate by without issue. I just wanted to let that be known.
On Minecraft (1.11.2), as soon as I load a world or start a new one, Minecraft crashes, with a "Java Platform SE binary has stopped working." I looked this up, and found this potential solution, posted on this forum, in 2012:
"1) Alt+Ctrl+Del
2) Start up Task Manager
3) Under Process Tab > Locate: "javaw.exe [Java(TM) Plateform SE Library]"
4) Highlight and click the button that says "End Process"
5) close out, start up Minecraft instantly"
Though it was the user's only post, I tried it anyway, and at first, I thought it worked; instead of crashing instantly, the game stayed up for around ten seconds or so. The music played, I could look around (while chunks were still loading), and it seemed like it'd be okay. Still, it crashed.
I don't know what information is important in discovering what the problem is, or how simple/complex the fix would be. My Minecraft launcher is 1.6.76. The Game Output (which I've seen posted on other threads here) is as followed:

Obviously, I've no idea what most of this means. I lowered my graphic settings (Changed to "Fast Graphics" from "Fancy," "Decreased Particles" from "All," Use VSync from "On" to "Off," Max Framerate from 120 to 60, View bobbing to "off" and Clouds to "Fast" from "Fancy), but it yields no difference I'm aware of.
Below is a screencap I was able to take before the game crashed. I don't know if it'd be useful, but thought that I may as well share it.
I use no mods, though I do have a skin (as can somewhat be seen below with the provided picture). I looked through the FAQ on this board prior to posting, but saw nothing that looked as though it was directly related. Like I said, I'm not technologically literate, so perhaps an answer to my conundrum was provided, but I missed it.
I guess my biggest point of confusion is this: I've played Minecraft with high graphic settings on this computer before without any problem or noticeable lagging (with a framerate max of 120). Now I've not gotten it to work in months.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, and I will answer or attempt to answer any question anyone may have about my computer, specs, whatever, that might be useful.
Many thanks in advance, and I hope you all can help me figure out both what is wrong (may it be one or multiple problems) and the best way to fix it.
I am using Windows 8.1 Pro, with a 64-bit operating system. Again, I don't know if this information is useful, but the more you know, the better one's able to tackle a problem, I always thought.
Any other suggestions insofar as how to move forward?
I have not, if for no other reason, I'm unsure of how one goes about uninstalling drivers and more so, what drivers specifically it wants me to uninstall.
I went to Device Manager after searching how to delete drivers - is the underlined driver what should be deleted? I know it's not NVIDIA, but based off what I see in all of the Device Manager subsections (System devices, Computer, Software devices, what have you), I don't see anything labeled NVIDIA.
I don't know how to fill out some of the sections. Obviously, the Product Type is GeForce (I'm guessing), Operating System Windows 8.1 64-bit, and Language English, but how am I supposed to know either the product series or product? Choose the newest series (10 series) and the default product choice (NVIDIA TITAN X (Pascal))?

I downloaded the hot fix it recommended (http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4378/), but during the NVIDIA installer, this came up (picture at bottom).

You downloaded the 64 bit version?

Though it doesn't have any details, after downloading the correct Hot Fix driver, this came up:
Hm, I wonder if the hotfix is broken in Windows 8.1
Have you tried one of the other 2 methods?

What were the other two methods? These suggestions?
Solution 1: Uninstall the drivers and reinstall without installing the 3Dvision drivers
Solution 2: Uninstall your current nvidia driver and download an older driver from here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
I have not, if for no other reason, I'm unsure of how one goes about uninstalling drivers and more so, what drivers specifically it wants me to uninstall.
Yes. Try with Solution 2. The graphics card drivers. Should be http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/113442

I just looked through the thread "How to ask for help effectively," and saw that it said to specify Java version, so here it is.
If they are not showing there, you dont have them installed, install the driver then

I would be open to, if you could provide a good guide as how to do that, or could walk me through yourself.
Regardless, despite not making progress as of yet, I deeply appreciate you taking the time to help me out.
