So I'm not sure what's up with this but I remember back at 1.8 forge this was happening too.
I don't remember the exact error right now but sometimes Windows (Yes, the OS!) crashes when it's launched. And it ONLY happens when Minecraft Java is running. Since I only use Minecraft forge, I'm not sure if vanilla affects the OS also. Anyways, When it happens the screen goes blue with a text-emoji that's frowning and next to it there's big text that say something like "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you. (0% Complete)". Then in small text near the lower end of the screen is "If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error: " and after that colon is something like "ACCESS_MEMORY_DUMP" or just "MEMORY_DUMP". I'm not sure which though. And I'm pretty upset since I can't play Minecraft; Java with Forge restarts my computer and Windows 10 Edition doesn't even have /gamerule and isn't modifiable.
Main Computer stuff:
Windows 10
12GB of Ram
600 or somethin Storage
Intel core i5 64 bit
Onboard graphics (Though I got the problem with non-on-board graphics on a different PC with win10)
The list of mods I'm using is quite long by the way but I can post it if it's needed.
So my question, obviously, is why it happens and how to fix it.
[EDIT] Oh, and this never did happen on windows 8. Just when I upgraded.
