Today I tried to launch Minecraft normally from my desktop, like I do almost everyday. However, I got an error message when I tried to open the launcher. The error message says:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
I literally just played a day or two ago, and everything was fine.
I haven't messed around with my .minecraft folder recently, and I asked my parents and they haven't changed any setting on our computer recently.
First, I tried restarting my computer. Then I switch users to the administrator, but the same error occurred. I tried uninstalling Minecraft and reinstalling it, but that didn't work. (I'm not even sure it fully uninstalled and reinstalled.)
