Download the standalone launcher and running it twice

When I reinstall minecraft it works again and soon after I shut down the computer the next day it stops working and starts loading the launcher and the error appears.

Its a timing issue, you either spam it till it works or redownload

I found a way that can help some people with a similar problem in my case as I reinstalled it and came back to pick it up correctly I did not use this method first step Open the Computer va folder in programs files and minecraft folder rename the tmpLauncher.tmp file to MinecraftLauncher .exe and rename the MinecraftLauncher.exe file as tmpLauncher.tmp and the replacements.

Yup, thats what the bug report says, the error is that the launcher can do that itself
