got on this morning to find that my Skyfactory3 modpack opened to, from what it looks like, the new beta Minecraft launcher. but the window was a blank white and it doesn't even show up in my applications or processes. I also tried opening my other modpacks Skyfactory2.5 and Hermitpack, but I got the same result the mod versions are 1.10.2 for Hermitpack and Skyfactory3 and 1.7.10 for Skyfactory2.5
Ok so after closing and opening curse and the SF3 for about 20 minutes I left and came back 30 or so minutes later and when I opened it, it reinstalled the launcher and now it works. I guess there was an error while installing the launcher the first time and it needed to be reinstalled.
BUUUT..now it gets stuck on Preparing and won't do anything... like nothing. no processor usage, no change in memory usage. it still registers as responding, though.
ok so I disabled "private browsing" mode on my antivirus and that fixed the issue. it looks like my antivirus was blocking the new launcher(since it isn't a java launcher and java has permission) thinking it was a web analytic or ad from a website.
