Okay, so I went to launch minecraft & it updated to the brand new 2.0 launcher [ I launched the game after the update with no issues ] about an hour ago. I had to go downstairs to do something and when I came back up and hit play on the title screen, it automatically shut down without a crash report..So I reopen the launcher & it opens as the 1.6.76 launcher again with this:
So I go to the launcher folder in program files and it says it was modified 1/30/17 1:41pm, clearly validating that it updated to the 2.0.700 launcher. I deleted my shortcut and made a new one but it's still launching the 1.6.76 launcher lol
I do not have an Nvidia graphics card.
Does this mean I'm gonna have to do a clean install..? *cringe*

You can try a clean install(delete everything in the .minecraft folder except for saves)

IT doesnt say outdated launcher for me on 1.6.76, hmm. Mind submiting abug report(if it doesnt exists) to bugs.mojang.com?
