So first off, thank anyone who comes to this thread to support me in this annoying issue.
Everytime I try to join a Minecraft server, my game gets stuck on a sky blue screen almost a second after I join the server. I can still hear the music and walk around and interact with the game itself (ive managed to disconnect from the server just by memorizing where the disconnect button is) but my game gets stuck with a sky blue screen and renders me "blind".
This issue only happens when I try to use a modded client (Mods, hacks, even OptiFine.) and I can still play in Single player mode. When I use the regular official 1.11 version I can join servers just fine (although I need OptiFine because this old computer is ****) but when I load a different unofficial version of minecraft I cant play multiplayer. Ive tried reseting video settings, reinstalling, i even reset my computer to factory settings and made sure the minecraft installer was the first thing I downloaded but nothing seems to work. Im running Windows 8 by the way and ive played Minecraft with modded clients before on this PC but all of a sudden this **** dont wanna work :/
