I can't log in to the launcher :/

It isn't that it won't accept the password or user, it just keeps loading for hours and even then it never loads in the end. I don't know what to do. I have 4G of RAM allocated to MC and my Graphics Driver is updated.

Dont allocate more ram, its worse.

Paste the launcher log in paste.ubuntu.com and give us the link

1. I can't allocate less RAM right now.

2. There is no log - I can't even log IN to the launcher as it just keeps loading.

New launcher or the old one?

The old one. I tried the new one and that didn't work right; it wouldn't start the game when I tried to start it. It didn't even crash, just refused to launch.

You have to delete everything inside the .minecraft folder(except for saves) if you run the new launcher before using the old one again.

See the tab in the top that says Launcher log? Can you copy its contents? or is it empty?
