So, I was trying to use Forge to use some mods but and it loads fine but then crashes right away when I get to the home page. I really wanna play with mods, especially Copious Dogs... Please HELP
Generally this can be caused also by your render distance being set too high. If you are downgrading from a higher version of minecraft or removing optifine. In your .minecraft folder there is an "options.txt" folder. Set your render distance to nothing higher than 12 and see if that helps.

ok wow, it was at 32 which is way too high, i usually have it at like 10 or 9, hopefully this works
