It works!!! I added more doors and sunlight and replaced glass blocks that lead to doors with ladders, and it started working.

I have just built my two floor underground iron golem farm to find it not working. Waited half an hour and nothing. Also the chunk is loaded I have built this in a spawn chunk, with me not being close to it.

I have made sure that these have been included:

-21 doors in total, that are exposed directly to sunlight (glass ontop of doors)

-10 villagers

-Spawn floors are lighted

-Plenty of space for golems to spawn, 4 blocks height and 18 blocks width

I have also linked pictures so you can see it.

1st pic is 2nd floor, 2nd is 1st floor, 3rd is villagers and front view of doors (on 1st floor), and 4th is view of doors and villagers in spec mode.

You will have to ask the creator of the farm to help you out, make sure you copied it exactly like they made it. I always make atleast one error and it wont work till I fix it

I pretty much copied everything, if not made it better. Do these farms still work in 1.11 underground?

Ask the original creator, also if you are underground, there might be a lot of things spawning, thus not allowing the iron golems spawn. Thats why they are made high of the ground (or in water)

Okay, is there anyway to tell if my iron golem farm counts as a village? Like in f3 mode? Or some other test. It should work if its a village, so maybe it doesn't count as one.

There is a mod I dont recall the name of, but in vanilla nope
