I was playing Crash Landing 1.1.3, a pure version, no extra mods added.
When i was grinding with a Grandmaster Alumite Scyte , a charged creeper in witch water exploded and the crash happened.
When i went back to re-enter the world, it was gone! So i tried to look for some help on the internet, every post said that i must have at least the world folder, i checked and it wasn't even there, i'm sure it is as i accesed with the resource packs folder button in the menu and clicking on saves, also my other worlds are there, except for the Deleted world. I even tried to run a file recovery program in "deep search" mode and nothing. It's gone, for good, for ever.
The little details migh help, so:
Although the world is by default with /gamerule MobGriefing false, Some times the creepers, which drop creeper seeds for PneumaticCraft, explode and destroy blocks that aren't so blast resistant, those block are the Forge microblocks one, i had a mix of them in one block to avoid cave spiders.
I recently did set up a second Steve's Manager machine for crafting planks, sticks, and finally stone hammers for a fully automatic ore production (50% gravel to pulverizer which produces sand and a little bit of dust, 50% to an automatic Steve's manager siever) hooked to a blast furnace above a deep tank. But the setup was not complete, it was not working at the moment.
As you could imagine, i'm really pissed off, i've put a lot fo hours and effort as i didn't know the basics of the mods at the start.
It's very likely that the world will never be recovered but at least I want to know why it happened so i can avoid it in the future. Oh, and now on, always back up.

this is really weird. the crash is caused by codechickencore, but i doubt that this caused the world deletion - or rather, that the deletion was in any way intended or a feature in a mod's code. my best guess is that for some reason, the world got corrupted in the process and couldnt be read by the file system afterwards. but in this case, you should at least find fragments with your recovery program. all in all, very odd, and probably not reproducable.
I remember that i did die a little before the "doom crash" aaand. The environment data (from EnviroMine) was not availible. I died with that "missing" information.
I think that's what caused it.
I shouldn't have said: Hey! no more heat or thirst! yay!
Well, people learn from mistakes, some of them are huge, unforgiving mistakes.
