I know this is not in the right section, but the link doesn't give me any help
So I got a 25 dollar Minecraft card for Christmas to make my account. I made my Mojang account, redeemed the gift card, and it said I had redeemed the PC version of Minecraft. I go to my account, and it says 'import old Minecraft account' next to it. I don't think it even let I choose my Minecraft username, or if it did, I have forgotten it. I tried entering my email land password on the launcher, and I'm just called 'player' and only allowed to play the demo.

Is an email already connected to the account you tried to make?
There should be an option for "I forgot my account password" or something like that and you should be able to enter your email and if it is connected to an account, it'll tell you the username

And I have an account for mojang and minecraft.net, on mojang it saysi have the game, but i have no minecraFT Player account and was ever given the chance to make one, and on minecraft.net it says i have to buy the game and i have no profile. I never got to make a minecraft profile even though i paid for the game with my 25 dollar gift card.

Quite odd, my best guess is they made an error somewhere and it doesn't recognise you bought the game. I can't help you any further unfortunately.. Hopefully someone knows though!

Quite odd, my best guess is they made an error somewhere and it doesn't recognise you bought the game. I can't help you any further unfortunately.. Hopefully someone knows though!
