Moderatornorton is known to cause issues with minecraft, and the only known fix is a full removal or norton, use Avast! instead
Thanks. Weird I tried to play just single player and it instantly crashes upon building terrain! Is that Norton as well?

ModeratorTo completely uninstall Norton Internet Security, use this tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe
Thank you. I performed the clean uninstall. I reinstalled Minecraft afterwards as well. Same 2 issues.
I also reinstalled my video drivers

Moderatorok in that case please obtain a HJT log
Trend Micro HijackThis is a utility that is used to collect diagnostic reports of your computer to help narrow down an issue you may be having. Download: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/files/2.0.5%20beta/HijackThis.exe/download
Run the program, choose "I accept", then "Do a scan and save a log file". After a while a text file will open. Copy everything, put the log on http://paste.ubuntu.com and give us the link.
Please ignore, i forgot to quote you
Thank you http://paste.ubuntu.com/23726347/

Have them uninstall Norton, if it doesn't help, have them make their own post.
