I made a world where the only biome that exists is "plains", but I need it to snow so it looks like winter. I went to MCEdit, changed the biome to Ice Plains and started up the game. /Toggledownfall made it rain. So I tried with WorldEdit, it still rained after restart. I tried a couple of times, including changing the biome and waiting in case it needed to load, but nothing worked, it keeps raining. Any help is greatly appreciated!

EDIT: Apologies if this isn't the right place to put my error, I didn't find anywhere else and I'm fairly new to the Forum!
EDIT: I got an idea and it seemed to work. For future reference, Harvest Festival was causing the problem, if anyone ever goes through this!
