Just a regular day of playing Minecraft when all of the sudden the game crashes and leaves me with an error message saying that the problem is a ticking entity. It will let me log in and load the world but immediately crashes. Online the only thing I could find was that this happens to outdated or broken modded worlds and servers. Not vanilla single player. Just wondering if this means the world is toast or if there is a fix? I have a lot of hours poured into this world and idiot me did not make a back up. Thanks for the replies!

Devs have already been made aware of the issue

Thanks~ seems to only occur on 1.11.1 and is brand new. Thanks for the link.
