Whenever I attempt to load Minecraft with my USB to HDMI Adapter plugged in it won't launch and brings up the Error "LoadLibrary failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect."

Whenever I remove the adapter this works fine however I need to use this adapter so cannot just unplug it.

Any Ideas on how to fix this?

It is essentially and external graphics card that gives my PC an extra HDMI port so I can support more monitors

Those usually work really badly, specially for graphically intensive operations like games. How many monitors you want to use? In my setup I can connect 3 without issue(2 in the gpu, 1 igpu port that still uses the gpu somehow). Previous one had 5

This is an expensive so the quailty is actually quite good however I want to connect 3 and my graphics card is and AMD R9 360 and my monitors have HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI

..there. The USB thing is probably just a red herring as this error has almost always been associated with a bad install of AMD video drivers:

You can either try to fix the bad registry entries, or try to reinstall the drivers.

I assumed this wouldn't be the issue as it worked when the adapter wasn't in use. However, it appears since the windows 10 anniversary update changes how adapters work and no longer lists them as external devices. Becuase of this my GPU did not accept having another GPU.

Active adapters are still cheaper and work better :P, had a R9 270x before and it had enough ports
