If you're using Windows, please run "dxdiag" in a command prompt window, then "Save All Information", take all of the text and post it to paste.ubuntu.com.
Secondly, in the command prompt window, type java -version and let us know the output.

@urielsalis Yeah that's my dell that overheats... my Asus freezes non stop every 1-10 mins
If I'm using my dell I always put it on a pen so that there's nothing blocking the intakes also my room is really cold it's been around for ages, it's quite old
@iBurke Okay when I get onto my Asus laptop I will make sure to run the commands and send the output and everything else hope fully this problem is fixable

If your laptop is overheating it means its also throttling itself, try using it in a cool surface with ventilation and use it while connected to power

Try this as you have intel display drivers
Actually, they have two drivers.
Here is your NVIDIA driver: http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/113444
Here is your Intel driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26229/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen-
