I recently bought a gaming pc which is going pretty well in everything as it was $2k, every game goes perfectly fine, except for minecraft, I seem to get 100 fps which is totally fine I know, but the spike lag I get is what kills me. It drops from like 200 fps to 10 fps and then goes back to like 50 and drops again this happens a lot and I can't simply play like that and that game is the reason why I was able to buy this pc so I can't really forget about it.

and i've been testing with some games, the spike lag and the fps drops are in every game not onlly on minecraft. It's like it can't run any games, idk what do I'm going crazy that I spent so much money and can't play a crappy game because it lags.

Could your post your PC specs?
Do you know your monitor refresh rate?

the graphics card is nvidia geforce gtx 970 and no I don't know that sadly.
Try turning V-sync on in your settings
I would also suggest running Fastcraft & Optifine, those both help with save-lag, which your probably experiencing.

I have vsync on and optifine will try fastcraft
anyone?
Make sure your graphics card is updated.

ModeratorHave you been allocating more ram to minecraft? If so post the argument used to do so
Turn off Vsync, it liimits your Framerates from 30-60 FPS.
I'm TheCoolSteveMan, you can call me CSM for short!

Post your full specs, you probably have a bottleneck.
