So for the past few days, I've been trying to set up a small modded server for a group of friends, and since there was space left on our Server computer it was perfect.
I got everything together, tested the mods on my end, the MC-server even Started up no problem.
But when I moved everything to the Server PC it went down hill from there.
Now the Server is set up by having multiple VM's running their respected servers. This is a way to protect against attacks.
So, I gave my VM 4GB's, which leaves me with about 3GB, left to work with.
Fine enough for a small modded server. Especially since I ran it as well as the Game both at the same time On my pc which only has 8GB's
It barely used any, of the 3GB's I gave it.
Now, comes the part of the issue.
The server ran Great, better than expected Even! But, after this point I realized I had an older version of java which was causing some Incompatibilities, with certain mods.
So I end up uninstalling the old Java I had, and getting the newest Version.
But get this...
So apparently Now, the server says it cannot use all 3GB's of Ram I allocated through the .bat
AND it won't even let me do 2GB!
That's right, I have to use only 1GB.. Which is weird in all honesty, when before I could use all 3GB's.
In general I have no idea what the issue is, So please enlighten me.
If I attempt to set more to the server this happens.
I'm afraid you're running a 32-bit Java. Do you have a 64-bit Operating System? If so, download 64-bit Java, which allows up to 4GB and sometimes more.

Oh, Jeez, it was that eh?
These sleepless nights are doing me no favors!
I honestly Thought I checked that, and here I was trying everything under the sun, and it was something so simple and minute.
Thanks for the help, Honestly... maybe I should get rest before these types of things. Lol

Cheers mate, have a good morning/afternoon!
No problem, we all make that sorta mistake.
