So I play Minecraft with my friends a lot but recently I haven't been able to see any of their skins or hear any sounds from the game. I've tried re-installing multiple times and all sorts of other things, but I just can't find a solution. The only skins I can see are of myself and 1 of my friends. Please help!

Yes, the no skin thing is a little problem that happens when you connect to a LAN game. It'll happen sometimes, I don't think there's much that you can do.
Meanwhile, I certainly hope that your sounds in settings are on. Make sure that your MASTER VOLUME is also on. Either that or make sure that your headphones/speaker works. It may be your computer that's on mute. Never encountered this type of problem before.
