Hey, I just downloaded the Sonic the Hedgehog map by FVDisco and am trying to launch 1.4.7 but it keeps crashing.
The only mod I have ever used was Smart Moving for 1.6.4, is that what is causing the problem?
It will not even let me download 1.4.7, it crashes everytime.

MC 1.4.7 isn't written for Java 8. Not sure if Java 7 will even work.
