This is running the normal, vanilla installment of Minecraft. It happens if I use anything after 1.8, regardless of multiplayer or singleplayer mode. Modded games the exact same thing happens.
I tried editing my NVidia settings to give Minecraft a boost, and also updated my Java as best I could. I even limited the amount of memory Minecraft can use since some said that might help. It didn't.
If anyone has even a small idea of what might fix this, I'd love to hear it.
That's something that can't really be repaired or fixed user-side, I'd assume, without messing with the programs themselves? Or is it something that warrants a patch?
Went ahead and downloaded the 64 bit. It worked for several hours, but I got another crash. Hmm, I'll have to see if there's any tinkering I need to do.

Did you make sure the Launcher is using the new version of Java you installed (Edit Profile; Java Settings (Advanced); Executable)?

I thought using 1.11 would make this stop, but it hasn't.
This usually happens on multiplayer servers but can happen on singleplayer if I play long enough. This is the error I get.
My specs are here. My system runs Windows 7, on a 64-bit.

This crash has been reported by multiple people (example: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-82058) all of whom as using Java 8.0_25-b18
So I think perhaps this might actually be a bug in the JVM, potentially a bug in the garbage collection mode being requested by MC.
There were a lot of GC bugs fixed in 8u40 and 8u60.....
Oh man, that's not good.

You can install the latest Java 8 from Oracle (something like 8u111) and configure your launcher profiles to use it.
Make sure you get the 64bit version => http://javadl.oracle.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=216434
