Ok, So im trying to run minecraft from the school which at first i was able to play unproxied but then it got blocked and now i wanna download a few different versions of minecraft but since they blocked minecraft, they blocked the servers in which they download things such as the twitch jar (https://libraries.minecraft.net/) and one of them being 1.8 which i have downloaded the jar and json file but it asks to update and play which cripples the entire point of downloading it (i have also tried a proxy but it does not bypass anything on the minecraft app) so i want to ask is their a unblocked launcher/proxy that enables me to do such?
no offense but im in a special program due to me transfering so for the next two weeks i'll have nothing to do so either give me some real information that i can use or don't comment at all because it's really annoying

Download it home and take it on a USB stick and transfer it to the computer? Maybe taht will help you with the updates You can play single player atleast if you want to play multiplayer well.. cant help you there, dont know how well protected the computers are, 100% there is a way, but without direct access to the machine I cant help you I use to do things like these in school all the time, quite frankly i loved proving the school system that their IT department dont have any idea what they are doing xD

Anyway good luck to you with the whole MC thing and dont forget to grab the whole .minecraft folder, i think it needs ALL files in order to work, cant miss anything.

If they blocked it, they probably don't want people playing it at their school, just play it at home or at a library.
