I used the old launcher for a long time, and it took me a while to find the new 2.0 launcher that is all modernized up. After finding it, I

1. Freaked out

2. Deleted my old launcher to try to get the new one. However, this didn't work.

3. Deleted all of Minecraft. Still not working.

So what do I need to do? Is my computer secretly storing a launcher variable in itself, to keep my used to the old style forever? Or am I just really dumb? Please I need an answer!

I'm not too sure but the wiki says that 2.0 is a developmental launcher. You might not be able to download it directly from minecraft.net.

EDIT: Yep. It's 'for testing'. Probably means that its not on minecraft.net? Try Googling 'minecraft launcher 2.0' or something.

The "2.0" launcher is a beta one posted on reddit.com/r/minecraft, you need to go there for help
