no matter what i try, uninstalling Minecraft, making a new world, doing different settings. I join and it instantly says:

Please help, one weird thing is that if i try to go back to previous versions ie. 1.7.10 it works just fine.

It's an options under video settings.

try turning off VBOs.
I'm sorry I'm not too tech-savvy what are VBOs?
