I downloaded some mods from Skydaz, had this issue, then gave up. A couple days later, I tried a mod on it's own. The mod worked fine. However, once I added more mods, my game encountered the same issue. Somehow, duplicate mod files are appearing in my mods folder, and if I delete either of them, Minecraft will simply crash. I'm not sure what to do about it. The files are: llibrary-1.4.1-1.7.10.jar and LLibrary-0.3.4-1.7.10.jar. I'm not very good with computers, in fact, I'm shamefully bad with them, but I'm pretty sure these files are related to Forge Modloader. I tried uninstalling each mod individually to see where they came from, but they stay even if I remove all mods. I don't understand how they got there either. Anybody know how I can fix this?
As a third-party installer, Skydaz probably also installs core mods that are required (like Curse). It sounds like 2 or more of the mods you want install the LLibray mod(s).
I'm not sure if these are the same mod, or just have the same name. Post the crash report when both of those mods are installed.
It only crashes when one of the problem files is removed.
OK, so when BOTH files are installed, no problem? Then, no problem. If both files are installed because of mods you want, and MC works fine with both libraries, then game on.
They aren't duplicates, even though they have similar file names.
It doesn't crash with both files installed, it only crashes with one or the other, and I believe neither as well. The issue is either it crashes, or, with both files, I just can't play because the screen says "duplicate mod files," and I can't do anything expect close it. Sorry I wasn't clear on that.
OK, got ya. Well, then its a bit more complicated. Forge sees them as the same file, even though they aren't (mod author problem).
Checking Curse, there are two LLibrary mods, both from the same author! So that means other mod authors are using one or the other version, thus causing the conflict.
So what do you do? Load the mods you want one at a time and see which mods requite the LLibrary mod (either one). Then decide if you want that mod(s).
That did it! Thanks a lot for the help! It feels like it was kind of obvious now... anyways, thanks a lot for the help, it runs fine now. There were indeed two mods downloading a similar file, removing one and it's corresponding file was the solution. Thanks once more ^^

Good luck.
