Before I start this happens to every version of minecraft.
Just recently minecraft has started to freeze within 5 minutes of launching the game. When I say freezing I mean it looks like I am still playing but I can't move, everything looks frozen, can't esc or chat and it looks like I am still moving to other players when I play online. It doesn't say "Not responding" or crash and go back to the launcher.
What I have tried:
Restoring Windows, Uninstalling minecraft and .minecraft, downloaded and used the launcher that requires java, changing settings, updating graphics card drivers and allocating more RAM.
This is very frustrating as I can't play for more then 5 minutes without it forcing me to shut down minecraft and relaunch it but then it happens again and again.
I add more RAM by going to JVM Arguments in the launcher and typing -Xmx3G. Just restored windows fully this time including folders so I am looking at how it goes.
I can tell you now it is. I have tried running with just the Nvidia and then just the Intel and I get really bad FPS. When both enabled I get a lot higher FPS.
You say expensive exceptions. It's kind of on the market for $1,200 so I don't see why it does this?
MC is not your typical video game. It runs on a programming language, Java. I have to agree that your current setup is not enough for MC. Do you have another PC you can use?
You didn't state what version of MC your using. Have you tried older versions (1.7.10 or earlier)?

So, your saying that a Nvidia 800 Series graphics card and an i7 with hyper threading can't run Minecraft yet the terrible PC I got for free ages ago that had a graphics that couldn't handle skype and gets 10 FPS on minecraft with low settings would run minecraft better then this if it was working? Doesn't seem right to me. I have ran MC on this laptop for over a year perfectly. Also I did state what version I am using, I said every version (ie. 1.6-1.11). My specs are more then good enough...
If you want better advice, you need to provide better info.
Like a screenshot of your F3 screen (preferably when this is happening).
Perhaps a copy of the game output tab, your exact JVM arguments from the launcher, etc.
As for your "800 Series"
In our gaming benchmarks, the 3D performance of the GeForce 820M is similar to the former GT 720M and the Intel Iris Graphics 5100.
This places the card in the entry level segment. Current games (as of
2013/2014) will run fluently only in low settings and resolutions
And since its an M, it's performance can be further crippled by your Power Options.
It seems to be my Intel doesn't like my Nvidia and conflicts together. I turned off my Intel while I play minecraft and It works fine. Except for when I try to use Microsoft edge I need the intel for it to work. Thank you anyways. Oh also I live in Australia so PC/Laptop prices are really high, sadly.

Intel i7 4510U, Nvidia 820m, Intel Integrated graphics, 8GB RAM.
This is very frustrating as I can't play for more then 5 minutes without it forcing me to shut down minecraft and relaunch it but then it happens again and again.
What script do you use to add more ram to your launcher?

Curse PremiumPost a DXDiag report. I bet you a dollar Windows is using the Intel graphics.
