So I use forge all the time and play on my worlds. I've used mods in a world then opened it without those mods. A backup of the world was made and it let me play with the items and/or blocks from the mods missing. I opened a world I REALLY want to keep with forge and a mod called Malisisdoors just happened to be in my mod folder. I realized it was in there when I used a door and saw the mechanics added my the mod. I then closed the save, took the mod out, and tried to open the save up again. I hit "yes" when asked if I wanted to proceed and lose all the blocks and items the mod added. But now I get this error:
"The world backup couldn't be created.
Java.io.IOException: Data error (Cyclic redundancy check)"
Is there a way around this? Or has the mod corrupted my save somehow?
To be clear, I can open the save with the mod in the mod folder, just not without.
