do you feel lucky?

if you do, google the error message "Can't load IA 32-bit .dll on a AMD 64-bit platform" and try to fix things.

if you do not, set aside a few GB, install some smaller linux distribution, run mc launcher and forge there and enjoy a fresh OS for minecraft. just copy mods, configs and worlds (saves) from your windows partition. if you do anything wrong there - no harm to your main system done.

Sounds like you're using a 32 bit version of Java with a 64 bit system.

Download the 64bit version of java.
