Well, its a long story but months ago I was playing minecraft online and local like normal people, but then I was cursed with the Suncertpathbuilder exception (search it up in the forums it is a big problem). I found no solution and I couldn't play online for months until recently when I switched to the new experimental launcher. I don't know if that all was relative but since first being to play online I could only go on the Extreme-craft server which I had played a lot before and had a membership for. any other sever would give me a message which read "failed to login: The authentication severs are currently down for maintenance" I am connected to the internet, I have a real minecraft account AND MOJANG'S FLIPPIN' SERVERS ARE NOT DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE!! (check this) so is Extreme craft a server that's more chill than the others or can I only play on it because I had been doing so before? I'll be honest, Extreme craft is fun but I wanna play somewhere else.
Run the program, choose "I accept", then "Do a scan and save a log file". After a while a text file will open. Copy everything from the log, put the contents on http://paste.ubuntu.com (dont forget to put a name or anything into the box marked "Poster") then hit the paste button on that page. Then put the link/URL to the page it takes you to in a reply.

UPDATE: disabling AVG doesn't make a difference
There are a few possible causes for that error. Download and run the diagnostic tool found here https://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/files/2.0.5 beta/HijackThis.exe/download
