Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
I have no idea how to fix this random crash that only started yesterday for no apparent reason. I've reinstalled Minecraft a thousand times. I've reinstalled the mods I'm using (Pixelmon and Optifine) a thousands times. I've reinstalled Java a thousand times. I've turned my Firewall on and off a thousand times. I've restarted my PC a thousand times. Nothing is working.
From what I've been looking into, it seems the error message itself means that you have timed out from the server. So I keep timing out after 5 seconds every time I try to join this server I am playing on that I had no problems with until yesterday. Obviously my internet isn't down since I'm obviously access it right now and I can connect to the server, even if it's only for a few seconds. Checking other online games, I have no problems connecting to those either. It's just Minecraft. I looked to see if there were any reported problems with my ISP and there have been but I don't know if they've started recently or not.
