I installed optifine in my minecraft and set up a separate launcher location (aka redirected .minecraft to a different location) and when I first tried to run optifine, I got tons of failed to download log errors, and the game wouldn't start up. It went from "Downloading..." back to "Play" and when I pressed it again, it tried to download once more, without the button changing at all. Pressing "Play" one more time caused the launcher to freeze, no matter if "done" loading (being on the last item) or not. It failed to download Optifine-1.10.2_HD_U_D2 a couple times. I went in and copied the libraries and assets from the separate directory to .minecraft to see if it would fix it, but it then gave me the final product of "Welcome, iiPostMaster" (line break) "Loading versions..." and it never loads.
Any suggestions on how to fix recieve many thanks. Cannot download new launcher due to me being on a network and it requires an admin pass I don't have. Trying to get past this will result in my account being terminated, so please, no suggestions involving the new http://minecraft.net/ minecraft.msi file.
