As you all know, minecraft block derivatives go to X:15. Still over X:16, they exist. Let's take the block 44:16, there is not block in hand texture (except a 4x size texture missing block) and when placed, it has the texture of the 44:0 basic block. Is the basic block (stone slab) texture redirected to both of them or 44:16 uses the same by default but can be overrode by another texture set in the resources folder?
More concretely: Could I put a yellow hardened clay texture for the block id 44:16? What is the name of the id 44:16?
