Hi, im having a problem..

so ive been playing minecraft for almost 2 years now and

i never had that problem before

Im getting random fps drops to 0

for like 30 seconds sometimes for a minute and i can't play like that.

I usually play at 100 fps on 256x packs

I play on low settings for high fps

also when I lunch minecraft it takes all my cpu up to 99%

Maybe that's what makes the fps drop.

Specs:

CPUID CPU name: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G2030 @ 3.00GHz

Operating System: Windows 10 64 bit

Graphs Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT

Please help me.

I suspect this is an older machine you've upgraded to windows 10? The first thing to make sure of is that Minecraft is actually running on your graphics card and not your mobo's integrated graphics. Additionally, since your OS is 64 bit, make sure you have the 64 bit version of Java installed and that Minecraft is running on that. Unless you need it for some reason just remove any 32 bit Java versions you may have installed.

so apparently I had 32 bit java installed so I installed the 64 bit version

but I still getting Fps drops like before,

and how can i check if the minecraft running on the graphics card?

and yea this is an old Computer but I never had problems on this computer

until now and this is the only one problem.

If you open the F3 debug screen in Minecraft it should say the GPU it's using on the right. First will be the java version, next your cpu, then the gpu.

If this happens click f3+a and it reloads chunks.
