Hey there: I wanted to have a bit of insight as to why minecraft is hanging at a few spots for Modded, Vanilla, and Optifine.
For Vanilla: Loading Libraries; then when it switches to console output, it does nothing for ~50 seconds, then begins launching at normal speed
For Optifine: ^Same as above, but hangs at the end of loading for ~9 seconds, then returns to the main menu
For Modded: Hangs while injecting mods for ~20 seconds, hangs while loading libraries for ~2 minutes, hangs at core initialization for ~2 minutes.
Things I have tried:
Restarting my PC
Installing a new version of Java
Installing the latest NVIDIA drivers
Installing the latest Realtek HD Audio driver
Installing the latest Tenda Software driver for networking
Reinstalling both curse and vanilla minecraft, as well as optifine
Logging out, and back into my Minecraft account
Ending the task and restarting it (Note for modded it takes a considerable amount of time to end the task, even after it's fully loaded, and you quit the game normally)
--
System Specs
A side note: I was not able to get a fresh "System" tab, it looked like this; because my computer was under heavy load at the time of this dxdiag
--
Note the hangs are NOT permanent and do eventually fix themselves, and when the final hang finishes, the game begins loading as usual, at the speed that it did before this problem had arisen.
--
There are no abnormalities in the logfiles, vs another person's computer that is NOT having the issue, and it is NOT my minecraft account, as it signed in without problems
