Hi everyone!! I got a question!!! So when I use minecraft with sphax PureBD Texture Pack for minecraft 1.8.9, it says it crashed. I know what is is, because I went to task manger and watched the memory!! The memory got higher, I think the cause is steam, because I have a lot games in when I have a lot disk space. I also either have 3.3 gigs of ram or 4 gigs of ram
For some information to The game stops at 2.6 gigs of ram being used

Curse Premium1. Install 64 bit Java if your OS is 64 bit.
2. 2G is sufficient for most MC packs (non-Pixelmon).

Can you share your computer specs?
Are you playing on a server or single player?
If your computer is only have 4GB
Make sure, your java is up to date. And if your system is 64 bit make sure you have 64 bit java.
Like majestic said, 2GB is good enough.
