Minecraft worked fine on my Windows 10 system with Edge browser before, using 1.10.2 and the 1.11 46a versions. Got message to update Java 8 update 111 and did so. Now when I start Minecraft, loading is slow, and character movement very slow and jerky. Graphics seem to be fine except for slowness. When I try to quit game, nothing happens. When I press the X button, get message that action not supported by Java. Then select quit program from menu (two choices). Game quits and get list of actions/problems, including statement about possible change to timeline and can't keep up.
Have considered trying to go back to earlier version of Java (update 110?). Don't know how to revert Java back.
