1.10.2 unmodded, been playing on this version for a while without a problem.
Loaded it up today and all of a sudden im getting 10fps max, usually worse. If I go to places in my world where theres nothing that ive done to it, it runs fine. Pausing the game or starting a new world makes it run fine too. But as soon as i go to my house or even look in the direction of my house it starts lagging. I'm not running any crazy farms or redstone stuff and I havent made any new structures in weeks. My laptop is nothing special but I've never had this problem before. It just seems so out of the blue. Ive been trying for hours to fix it and nothing has helped.
Laptop Specs:
Hp Envy, about 2 yrs old
Win 64 Bit
12 GB RAM
Intel core i7 4700
Intel HD 4600
I swear Ive done everything i can think of. Running offline, allocating more ram, turning every video setting down to bare minimum, running with OptiFine. Nothings working. If anyone can help me I'd love you forever. Any more questions feel free to ask.
That is strange. Try opening up task manager before and after Minecraft starts to lag and upload a screenshot of the performance tab so we can see how well your pc is holding up with Minecraft running.
Theres a couple. it peaks at around 40% when it lags. Way higher than when it wasnt lagging, but is it normal for it to be lagging when its only up to about 40%? Thats a legit question, ive kinda reached the end of my computer knowledge here. Hopefully that helps but if you need anything else let me know!
You have 1457 entities loaded, that plus your description implies that you either have something weird going on in a chunk near you, or you have a corrupted chunk.
You might try using mcedit to examine / remove entities, and or repair chunks.

Thank you friends
Did you try disabling animations and particles with Optifine? I got a similar problem that was fixed by doing so.
