I'm trying to get the game working again, and as my previous thread on this received no replies, i had to reinstall. I reinstalled with the new installer (the one that comes with it's own copy of java.)
It ran fine, but then I went to install forge on it, and it doesn't install at all, it doesn't recognize the new file layout. So now I can't use my mods anymore.
Would someone here be willing to help me out a bit and tell me how I could install forge on the new client, preferably Forge 1.7.10.
