Hello, i know there is a title about this but i couldn't find what i need. Couldn't find any solution for my problem. I have a AMD Radeon R9 M200X graphic card, and also i have a Intel 4200 HD (i am useing a toshiba laptop). As you know minecarft is useing the Intel one instead of the AMD. So;
How can i make Minecarft to use the AMD one?
-The graphic cards has any effect on Minecraft or ram is the only thing that must be.
-I know it isn't offical for you guys but i want to play with the shaders mod. Normally i got a 125 Fps. But when i switch to the shaders mod i got a 9 Fps.
-I am useing a 64bit java and i have 16 Gb ram.

After verifying the device (Graphic Card in this case) is properly responding to the OS. You need to set this thing as the default device to use and disable the integrated one (Intel one).
The laptop might have a "switchable graphics" setting in the bios screen. That allows the laptop to use the integrated graphics normally but allows games and applications (that understand how to) to switch to the alternate video card on demand. You may need to turn the switchable graphics setting off in the bios, so that the laptop always uses the AMD card. I am not sure whether there is a setting that allows Minecraft to switch to using the AMD card if the Intel video is on by default. One caveat to disabling switchable graphics (if it is available on your laptop) is that it may use more power (and thus have less battery time) if the AMD graphics card is always on.
Yea it solved somehow as i changed the battery settings.
Glad I am not the only one with this weird like occurrence. Something was wrong with my screen dimming even though I had the "battery" life setting disabled for dimming and etc (since it a desktop and those are always plugged in for obvious reasons). Went on my manufacturer's power thingy and after putting the brightness on "High" it now fine.
