I cannot connect to any server whatsoever, I've looked all over this website for solutions, went to google for solutions, youtube, I've reinstalled minecraft, let minecraft and java go through the firewall, then turned off the firewall altogether, and reset my router to factory defaults (in case ports were being blocked). none of that helped... on what appears to me to be helpful however, i cannot connect to any servers with minechat either, but when i connect to different wifi i can use minechat. any ideas as to what is going on?
Ive tried that... i think my router has something wrong with it.. even tho it worked fine a few weeks ago.. no software updates to my router since the problem occurred
Have you allowed Minecraft Services through your firewall or any anti-virus program? Check your internet service plan for usage limits. Checks for others in your household on the internet that could be the cause of high ping.
i've let minecraft and java through the firewall and then when that didn't work i disabled the firewall altogether. that didn't work either, and my internet doesn't have a usage limit, the more i use it the more money it charges me.
I've been having the exact same issue for 2 WEEKS! My poor child is dying without his HyPixel! I have tried all the same above fixes with no luck. I can connect to the multiplayer servers when I'm not at my house but not here. HELP!!!!! Is it time for a new router?
well the thing is is that the router worked fine until i went to Montana for a week and while i was gone the router had gotten switched off... then when i got home none of my servers worked.
