Hello everybody.... I am having a strange issue that I can't explain...
I am making a 512x texture pack, and it is working great. All blocks and most items are replaced with 512x textures, and my game runs at over 100 FPS...
Recently, I created 512x textures for all of my tools (Pickaxe, Axe, Hoe, Sword, etc.), and when I load the new textures in my pack, my game's FPS drops to like 1.......
I can't understand why that would be... I am using the same quality textures all over my game, including on many held items, but with these loaded in the game, it runs SUPER slow... Even my menu before I load a world is slow...
When I take out the new textures, it works great again...
Anybody have an explanation or any advise for this odd phenomenon?
