Hi, so I'm having a problem with my FPS on Minecraft. Before this happened, I had 40 or maybe 50 FPS as a max (using optifine), which is already not good, but it is fine with me. Around August, I one day decided to play, and I experienced terrible lag, 1 to 4 FPS. This makes the game unbearable to play, and I am just now asking for help. I tried everything I could think of: Downloading a 64-bit java program, making all my settings low, uninstalling (deleting the .minecraft folder and everything) and redownloading Minecraft, adding more RAM to Minecraft, uninstalling other applications I don't use, and yet I still have terrible FPS.
Am I doing something wrong, or am I supposed to do something else?
