I have had a survival world that was on a realm for some time. I moved it to my regular Minecraft instance to start playing SSP on it and encountered something VERY strange.
The world suddenly, in any chunks I had not explored yet, seemed to switch to amplified terrain. I DID NOT CHANGE THE TERRAIN GENERATION. I didn't go in with NBTEdit or anything. I have not touched the world files. The switch to amplified was not gradual but sheer cliffs and then sudden very amplified-looking generated terrain. This is a huge problem because I want to build an iron farm, but can't because my game gets too much lag in those amplified areas. I can't even fly properly. So anyone who knows anything, please help. I would really like to resolve this issue.
